• Reservations are required for all tours.
• Our tours depart near 5 East Ave Austin, TX 78701. We will meet under the I-35 bridge by the shoreline to the Colorado River. We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes prior to the tour start time to find parking if traveling by car.
• Every tour is small (only 12 people max) and given in our completely clear kayaks.
• Private tours may be available by request.
• Our guides are always helpful and entertaining (they love tips)!

Trips that are canceled by Get Up And Go Kayaking – ATX due to inclement weather, will be rescheduled or refunded.

All sales are final, however, we do offer Trip Protection at Get Up And Go Kayaking – ATX for 10% of the ticket price to allow you to cancel for a full refund for any reason up until 12 hours prior to the trip time.

No-show participants will not be refunded. This includes showing up with less paddlers than the original amount booked for.

Get Up And Go Kayaking – ATX will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, trips may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to safety issues. If this is the case, your reservation will be refunded in full or rescheduled. We will not be held responsible for any reservation that you fail to keep due to any unforeseen circumstances. We also reserve the right to change or cancel any tours due to circumstances beyond our control. In this instance, Get Up And Go Kayaking – ATX can refund the tour price, not any other expenses that may have been incurred.

Yes! Our weight limit is no more than 250 pounds per person and no more than 425 pounds per 2 people that are in the same kayak. All of our kayaks are double kayaks. Unfortunately, our kayak manufacturer has given us this strict limit of 250 pounds per person and we cannot exceed this limit.

Our tours are made for any skill levels to participate, we will have basic tips and tricks to help you maneuver the waterways. We try our best to paddle at a pace that is convenient for every paddler! We do require all guests to stay with the group.

Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers) however, if you have an odd number of guests in your party we can easily reconfigure the kayak to accommodate solos.

This premium experience is per person for the tour. We don’t rent out the kayaks or charge one fee for our kayaks. Doing so would make it unfair for solo kayakers or groups with uneven party numbers.

We highly recommend booking as far in advance as possible. You may purchase Trip Protection to give you the flexibility of cancelling up to 24 hours prior to the tour time.

Standard US gratuity is 20%!

Of course! However, each person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older in a kayak. If you have more children than adults in your party please contact us so we can determine if this scenario is doable at this location. We love having the entire family out and kids love this tour!

We may have the ability to get out on a sandbar during our day time tours. Here you are able to get out of the kayaks and splash around a bit in the water if you’d like.
