My name is Jeremy Ansley, I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology and History. I’ve since dedicated a lot of my life to learning about the human body, medicine, and how to care for the sick. I started my healthcare career in 2015 in EMS as an EMT for Volusia County, working and receiving my state certifications in Firefighting and Paramedicine in 2016. I continued my pursuit of higher education at an Osteopathic Medical School in 2018, completing the first year of graduate studies. In 2022, I graduated from Daytona State College with an Associate Degree in Nursing and currently work both as a nurse and tour guide. I’ve always loved spending time outdoors, and while professionally I’ve spent the past several years working in healthcare, I’ve grown even more to appreciate the experiences in life that bring joy to people. The path I’ve taken to get where I’m at today has been incredibly enlightening, and I’m grateful every day to guide adventures! There is so much that I enjoy about being a tour guide, but one of the best parts for me is just watching a family create beautiful memories together. I love all the laughter and smiles these magical places bring about and getting to take people on a “once in a lifetime” experience, I mean, come on, what’s not to love about being a tour guide?!
Megan
-
Megan is originally from Maryland close to DC, but is happy to call the Sunshine State home! She has a degree in Psychology and is now at a ministry school called Jesus School! She loves being in nature, whether it’s the springs, beach or mountains and is always down for an adventure. Megan’s favorite thing about guiding is seeing people experiencing the beauty of creation, connecting with each other and having fun! When she’s not in a kayak, you can find her singing, doing calligraphy, and exploring all that Florida has to offer.
Cameron
-
Hey there! My name is Cameron. I am a life long Florida native, born and raised in The greater Orlando area. My passion for wildlife started from a very young age as I was naturally very curious about all the critters in our own backyards. From there it blossomed into a life of hiking, fishing, herping, and kayaking! Becoming a tour guide has enabled me to share that passion for our diverse ecosystem with people from all over the world. I love what I do and I can’t wait to be out on the water to share an amazing experience with you!

↠ ROCK SPRINGS ↞
Get Up And Go Kayaking – Rock Springs is where it all started. Founder of Get Up And Go Kayaking, Justin Buzzi, gave tours at this amazing location back in 2016 when the company first started. This beautiful location was featured on ABC’s “The Bachelor” in 2022 (on Clayton’s season) and has also been featured in USA TODAY, Travel & Leisure, Insider, and many more.
We are passionate about conservation and education. This is why we donate a portion of every single tour to Conservation Florida and other Springs organizations. If you’re looking for something amazing to do near Orlando beyond the theme parks, THIS is it!
Let’s adventure together and share memories that will last a lifetime! Come find the true beauty of Rock Springs at Kings Landing!

↠ Rock Springs Run | Emerald Cut | Kings Landing | Kelly Park ↞
There’s a lot of different names that are used interchangeably along the Rock Springs Run and some local-known spots as well. Many people refer to this waterway as Kings Landing and specifically our portion of the paddle through the well-known, beautiful “Emerald Cut”.
Emerald Cut was given it’s name due to the emerald color waters that often occur through the winding stretch of Rock Springs that weaves through the jungle-like tree canopies. It’s no doubt with waters like this that clear bottom kayaks are the way to adventure!
As our tour gets through Emerald Cut we will approach another locally named, “Bonsai Tree” that arches over the waterway and is a great spot for a few photos. Beyond that we will get to ‘the sandbar’ or ‘banana bend’ as there’s a hidden banana tree along the waterway. These are the areas that deer and otter often like to play. This portion of the paddle is out in the open air and great to catch some rays of sunshine while enjoying the crystal blue waters. The very top of the run butts up to Kelly Park which is our turn-around point as we then coast back down to Kings Landing! The further up you make it along our paddle, the more crystal blue the water gets. Wherever you adventure along Rock Springs Run you are sure to have an amazing experience!

Yes! Our weight limit is no more than 250 pounds per person and no more than 425 pounds per 2 people that are in the same kayak. All of our kayaks are double kayaks. Unfortunately our kayak manufacturer has given us this strict limit of 250 pounds per person and we cannot exceed this limit.
-
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single.
Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak out as a single. -
Trips that are canceled by Get Up And Go Kayaking due to inclement weather, will be rescheduled or refunded.
All sales are final, however, we do offer Trip Protection at Rock Springs for 10% of the ticket price to allow you to cancel for a full refund for any reason up until 12 hours prior to the trip time.
No-show participants will not be refunded. This includes showing up with less paddlers than the original amount booked for.
Get Up And Go Kayaking will not launch in unsafe weather conditions. Because of this, trips may need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to safety issues.
