Grapevine Lake Sunset and Glow Tour
Adventure with us as we watch the sunset and paddle through a peaceful cove at Grapevine Lake. Soak in nature as the sun goes down and the sky turns pink and orange reflecting on the calm waters. You may also be able to spot osprey, egrets, great blue herons, turtles, ducks and a beaver. After the sun goes down and the stars come out, we will illuminate the water with our LED lights for a truly unique and magical experience that will leave you in awe. Our knowledgeable guides will skillfully navigate the journey, capturing photos along the way to ensure your adventure is a memorable one.
Grapevine Lake Nature Tour
We will start our paddle in the tranquil waters at McPherson Slough, one of the coves at Grapevine Lake. You’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery around you as we explore a nearby winding creek (when lake levels allow). Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic sight of an osprey soaring overhead or a great blue heron gracefully fishing along the banks of the lake. You may also see turtles basking on logs along with beavers, ducks and other wildlife. Our guides will make sure you have a memorable experience while taking photos along the way and providing interesting facts about the area and natural surroundings.

SMALL GROUPS
Our max group size is 12 paddlers – the perfect size to hear our guides and enjoy conversations along the way. (Larger private parties may be available upon request. Group size may vary slightly by location.)
GREAT VIEWS
Don’t let a normal kayak hinder your view! Our clear kayaks are the absolute best way to view the surroundings, and there’s plenty of opportunities to snag some Reels or videos for TikTok!

- Reservations are required for all tours.
- Each of our kayaks are tandem, so bring a paddle partner! If you are solo or in an odd-numbered group you may take a boat by yourself.
- Please make sure you are aware of our weight limit policy and cancellation policy prior to booking.

We require at least 48 hours notice prior to your scheduled tour time to receive a full refund or reschedule. If you do not give us at least 48 hours notice prior to your tour time we will not be able to refund or reschedule your reservation. Similarly, if you show up with less than the amount booked on your reservation, those remaining spots will not be refunded nor rescheduled. Trips that are cancelled by Get Up And Go Kayaking for any reason (weather conditions, unsafe paddling conditions, etc) will be refunded in full or the option to be rescheduled to a future tour. We will not paddle in unsafe weather conditions.

No paddler can be over 250 pounds individually due to manufacturers restrictions with the clear kayaks.
Once that first criteria is met, no 2 combined paddlers can be over 425 pounds.
