Explore Seven Sisters Springs by Clear Kayak
Seven Sisters Springs is one of the most beautiful spring systems in Florida, and you cannot reach it by car, by trail, or by accident. Water access only. That’s the whole reason it still looks like this.
Underwater, natural limestone forms a cluster of connected caverns where 72° spring water pushes up year-round. From a 100% clear tandem kayak floating above it, you see straight down into the structure — no mask, no snorkel. Then you get in and swim it.
We’re the original and only clear kayak tour company on the Chassahowitzka River, running since 2021. Five boats, ten guests, twenty minutes south of Crystal River and a fraction of the crowd.
Two departures daily: 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Highlights
- Seven Sisters Springs is water access only — no road, no trail, no parking lot, which is exactly why it’s still pristine
- Swim in 72° spring water — get out of the boat, float the limestone caverns, and cool off properly
- 100% clear tandem kayaks — watch the spring beds, fish, and limestone pass beneath you without a mask or snorkel
- The original clear kayak tour on the Chaz, running since 2021 — and still the only one
- Ten guests maximum, always — we own five boats, so small groups aren’t a promise, they’re just how we’re built
- Two departures daily — 10:30 AM for the best light and calmest water, 1:30 PM for the best value
- Twenty minutes from Crystal River with a fraction of the traffic — same Manatee Capital of the World® waters, none of the lines

- Check-In & Orientation (15 min) — Meet your guide at the trailer, get fitted for your life jacket, and run through paddling basics. First-timers welcome; these boats are stable and easy to handle.
- Launch into the Springs Run — Push off from the campground canal and paddle into the spring-fed channels of the Chaz.
- Tree-Canopied Waterways — Wind through cypress and palm-lined channels, drifting over seagrass beds and schools of mullet, sheepshead, and snook. Turtles on every log, ospreys in the treeline.
- Seven Sisters Springs — Float directly above the limestone spring system, visible straight down through your clear hull. Then get in. Swim the caverns, cool off in 72° water, and take your time.
- Guide’s Choice — Your guide picks the day’s best route based on tide, water clarity, and where the wildlife has been. No two tours are the same.

Our weight limit is no more than 250 pounds per person and no more than 425 pounds per 2 people that are in the same kayak. All of our kayaks are double kayaks. Unfortunately our kayak manufacturer has given us this strict limit of 250 pounds per person and we cannot exceed this limit.
-
Each of our kayaks are tandem (made for 2 paddlers). However, the seats are removable and if you have an odd number of paddlers in your party we are able to accommodate the kayak as a single.
Keep in mind, the same 250 pound PER person weight limit still applies even if taking a kayak out as a single.

West Indian manatees during Nov-March, River otters, freshwater turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, great blue herons, great egrets, mullet, and a variety of freshwater fish and aquatic species. Wildlife sightings vary by season and are never guaranteed, but the river’s clear water and natural surroundings offer plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way!
