What exactly makes the water glow that blue color?

Tiny organisms, called Dinoflagellates, in the water create light when disturbed, turning your kayak trip into something that feels more like drifting through a galaxy. Our 100% clear kayaks elevated your biolumienscent experience because you’re watching the glow happen right beneath you. We accommodate small groups (up to 10-14 people) which help create a more laid-back experience and allows everyone to be heard! Our guides are super passionate about what they do and are eager to show you and teach you more about the bioluminescence.

What kind of tours do we offer during this season?

• Sunset: Start with a sunset, end in glowing water. This is great for families with little ones who would prefer to paddle around dusk versus night time kayaking! Or just anyone who wants to catch the sunset on the water before it gets dark for our bioluminescence viewing!
• Bioluminescent tour: We offer a few tour times a night – the darker the evening, the brighter the bio! The moon will play a huge role in your viewing. We recommend coming out with the moon is 55% or less!
• Private VIP: Only for two guests! A more exclusive, extended experience (and yes, it is filmed for you by our founder Justin Buzzi!)

Do we see wildlife?

It’s never a guarantee but you’re paddling through a wildlife refuge, so dolphins, manatees, rays, fish, and shrimp can all make an appearance! It’s really cool because their movement lights up the water!

Don’t Wait Too Long. The season runs June–September, with peak glow in July and August and spots fill quickly. So make sure you grab your paddle crew and book while you can!
