IMG_2515

When you think of Florida, you probably think of Orlando, Walt Disney World, Tampa, Daytona, and Miami. Little did you know that just Northwest of Central Florida is a hidden world full of adventures to be discovered! Here are our top 5 recommendations!

1.Seacrest Wolf Preserve

Not too far North of Panama City Beach is a non-profit organization for wolves and wildlife conservation. They offer tours, and if you have never seen a wolf up close before, we highly recommend checking this place out! Not only will you be able to snap some awesome photos, but you will get to learn about the keystone species and why they are so important to the environment!

2.Panama City Beach Winery

Want to kick back and relax in a beach atmosphere, while letting your tastebuds do all the thinking? This is the place for you! All of their wine is made from 100% real fresh fruit and some varieties are made with over 9lbs of fruit in one bottle! The best part, you might ask? They offer complimentary wine tastings!

3.Get Up And Go Merritt’s Mill

Ready to get out and fully immerse yourself in nature? We recommend checking out our guided clear kayaking eco tour, North of Panama City Beach. The tour offers a 2.5-3 hour paddle through Merritt’s Mill Pond. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a 4 mile clear spring reservoir, with clear water the whole paddle! The best part is you get to hop out and snorkel to discover underwater caves! If you don’t feel like going for a swim, you can check out the caves and underwater life through the bottom of your clear kayak!

4.Falling Waters State Park

This State Park features Florida’s tallest waterfall! The waterfall flows into a 100 foot deep sinkhole from the top of a cliff. It is unknown where the water goes when it disappears into the sinkhole. This park offers a beautiful and unique experience for nature lovers and adventurists alike! It’s not too far from our clear kayaking tours and would provide for a great before or after tour adventure!

5.Big Kahuna’s Water & Adventure Park

Looking to feed your inner adrenaline junky? Check out this water and adventure park in Destin. Ride their Sky Coaster or brave the 5-story Jumanji slide! If not everyone in your group is wanting the thrills of the coasters, they can relax in the pools or float down the lazy river.
